THE WHITE ELEPHANT HOTEL

THE HISTORIC HARBOURFRONT ONE

Overlooking Nantucket Harbour, the White Elephant Hotel is a traditional-style stay located just minutes away from town.  A Nantucket landmark since the 1920s, the property features 67 guestrooms, suites, garden cottages and spectacular in-town lofts. We love the Harborview Rooms & Suites for a room with a view & we also love the ground floor rooms that have a private patio with walk-out access to the Harborside Lawn. On the dining front, Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant Hotel offers a sublime setting for al fresco dining. For brunch, start your day on the right note with a Lobster Bloody Mary! Need-To-Note: They have a super-cute boat available to rent for the day.

THE WAUWINET

THE SOPHISTICATED SEASIDE ONE

Across the harbor you’ll find White Elephant’s more secluded, adults-only sister property: The Wauwinet. Situated in glamorous seclusion on the northeast end of Nantucket nestled between the bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this Relais & Chateaux property is the stuff of storybook romance. The historic boutique features 32 guest rooms, as well as four charming cottages across from the Main Inn. And no two are the same; each room is uniquely decorated with such luxe details like ultra-opulent elevated beds and hand-stenciled finishes. The superb restaurant Topper’s is worth visiting even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
