Villa La Massa, the Florentine sister hotel of iconic Villa d'Este, is hosting an exclusively curated 'Fashion and Style Week' this September. For five nights, this bespoke program will give a unique glimpse into the glamorous world of Italian fashion, style and design.
Highlights on the itinerary include a visit to the Costume Gallery at Palazzo Pitti, which houses more than 40,000 unique pieces — creations ranging from the 18th century to present day —including clothes from Sicilian Sicilian Aristocrat Donna Franca Florio, one of the most famous European personalities during the Belle Époque, as well as some of the more recent creations by Versace.
Also included is a visit to the Roberto Capucci Museum at Villa Bardini, where guests get the opportunity to see the sketch books and numerous creations from this established designer who Christian Dior once described as “the best creator of Italian fashion”, due to the originality of his pieces.
Opening exclusively for guests, there will be a very special afternoon at the Terraces of Palazzo Pucci - with the opportunity to see where the Marquis Giannozzo Pucci, Emilio Pucci's nephew, has created his own botanical gardens to help inspire creativity and aid meditation.
The Fashion and Style Week (September 13-18, 2016) is priced at €7,240 for a double deluxe room based on two people sharing and €5,355 for a double deluxe room based on one person. Price includes dinner and lunch on most days, VAT and service. City tax excluded.
