An urban oasis perched high in the clouds...
The Upper House, an urban oasis perched high in the clouds on Hong Kong Island, is simply one of the most amazing hotels. With incredible service and attention to detail, you really can’t go wrong. The 117 rooms, starting on the 38th floor, offer stunning views from the floor to ceiling windows. You never actually have to even leave your room to see the city sights – the perspective is that amazing! The rooms themselves are also great – super spacious and comfortable, lending themselves more to a luxurious home than hotel room. And the bathtubs… these are the real deal. Positioned so that you can enjoy views of the city from every single tub, you’re never going to want to get out!
So one of our favorite parts (other than the bathtubs, of course) is all the freebies! Complimentary beer, soft drinks, espresso, Wi-Fi, weekend yoga classes, jars of almonds, M&Ms, Milano cookies, Mentos, etc. etc. etc. … the list goes on and on. ALL FREE.
When it comes to the public spaces, everything was really more beautiful than the next. My favorite was up on the 49th floor of the hotel, where New Yorker, Chef Gray Kunz’s restaurant is located. Between the food and the scene, we really can’t decide which is better.
And last, but certainly not least, The Upper House’s collaboration with Christian Louboutin to provide in-house customized manicures and pedicures is just everything. #redsoles
